HOW ELRAVIE RE2O WORKS

Understanding the ECM that forms the skin's matrix

Elravie Re2O is a human tissue product based on human acellular dermal matrix (hADM), processed to remove cellular components. It delivers ECM components, including collagen and elastin, to support dermal reconstruction. It is considered separately from synthetic products that stimulate collagen production.

01 · hADM

Human acellular dermal matrix

The material is derived from donated human dermis with cellular components removed.

02 · ECM

The skin's supporting matrix

The focus is on extracellular matrix components such as collagen and elastin that support skin tissue.

03 · DERMAL SUPPORT

An approach that considers the dermal environment

We distinguish volume concerns from texture and firmness concerns before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

04 · SKIN RESPONSE

Monitoring each treatment area

Skin thickness, treatment extent and response guide the next steps.

Even within the same face, skin thickness and treatment needs vary.

We assess facial and neck skin thickness, fine lines and texture, along with previous injections and recovery responses. Treatment areas, extent and injection methods are planned individually.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Elravie Re2O — frequently asked questions

This is general guidance. Consultation advice may differ according to your condition and treatment scope.

01What is Re2O made from?

It is a human tissue product made from human acellular dermal matrix (hADM), with cellular components removed. It contains ECM components such as collagen and elastin and is used for dermal reconstruction.

02How does it differ from other collagen boosters or fillers?

Re2O delivers ECM components derived from human dermis rather than using synthetic materials to stimulate collagen production. Its composition and purpose also differ from fillers used for volume. Volume loss and concerns about texture or firmness are assessed separately when choosing a treatment.

03Can it be used on both the face and neck?

The official product information lists the full face and neck as application areas. Methods vary by area; skin thickness, inflammation and previous treatments are assessed before planning. Re2O Fine is a separate product and is discussed separately.

04Is the treatment painful?

Stinging or pressure may occur during injection. Discomfort varies with the area, method and individual sensitivity. Pain relief options and the procedure are discussed during consultation.

05How long do bruising, swelling and injection marks last?

Temporary redness, swelling, bruising or injection marks may occur, and recovery varies. Allow time before important events. If a firm lump persists, seek medical review rather than pressing or massaging it yourself.

06When are changes assessed, and how many sessions are needed?

Texture, fine lines and firmness are reviewed after initial swelling settles. The timing and persistence of changes, as well as session numbers and intervals, depend on skin condition and previous responses rather than a fixed schedule.

07Can it be combined with other treatments?

We first review previous fillers, boosters, laser and lifting treatments, including their timing. The clinician decides whether to combine treatments or space them apart based on the areas involved, irritation and recovery.

08What should I check before and after treatment?

Tell us about medications, allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding and previous injections. Follow the cleansing and moisturizing advice after treatment and avoid strong friction. Seek immediate medical care for worsening pain, skin color changes or visual symptoms.
